boxing in PEI?

Hello fellow letterboxer,
We're planning a trip to Prince Edward Island in July and are looking
for info on letterboxes there. There is only one box listed at
Letterboxing.org in Strathgartney Provincial Park. Does anyone know
if it's still there? Also, does anyone know of other boxes on the
island?

Hi Ginger & Bob,
Two Maine Cats here - we visit PEI every year!!  I do not know of the Provincial Park letterbox (if it is still there or not)  If we go there before you - I will give you a report.  We also plan on plating some boxes on our visit this summer and will be sure to pass them on to you!
Have a wonderful vacation - there is no place like PEI!!!!!

 Our family has visited PEI several times in the past years also, and, like Two Maine Cats, absolutely love it, tho we can't say we've ever been letterboxing there. Depending on your route, you may also want to meander along Route 1 through Maine and look for a few letterboxes.  It's about a seven hour trip from the Bangor area, depending on if the road conditions.

  Make sure you take time to attend a Caliedgh (sp?).  It's pronounced Kay-lee.  It's a great  way to spend an evening.
